I realized I've missed an important milestone (just by a few days, luckily). I had something specific in mind, but instead I got a bunch of this - and I'm not complaining! This is totally her.Very much love for this sad little blanket (which really needs a wash - perpetually). Much love for brother too. If you have a 2 year old then you know that in this picture she is shouting "NO NO NO NO!" Me: "Do you want a marshmallow?" Me: "What do you do with a marhsmallow?"
Out & about in Albuquerque, looking for new & exciting picture locations. Matt had seen a couple earlier this week while on a lunch meeting that he thought would be good. And there were some great finds! I need to add lighting to some of these, and I hadn't brought anything like that. But there are some great new places to try! I love the urban look, it's so much fun, and Albuquerque has a lot to offer with murals and grungy corners (we found some great ones but usually there was too much broken glass to use with kids).
I'm really excited about doing some marketing & promotions for this new year! I love some of these ideas - they will be a great deal for customers & hopefully a good way for me to do some expanding as well. Check them out & feel free to pass the link on!
It's nice out! Well, sort of - we were a little cold but it was still fun. I've had my eye on these beautiful blue doors (there was some skepticism but I like it!). I still like spring better.
This was a late session & the mom told me she didn't mind it being done after Christmas. I guess this isn't TOO far after Christmas - obviously I took her at her word. That said it's a really nice set of some really sweet kids. They have some great smiles and sweet expressions. And pretty Christmas colors (love the socks).
This family... wow! :) Don't they look fantastic??? The little girl has a special Christmas dress and her parents dressed to match. She was really tricky to get smiling, but we did get a few smiles out of her eventually. And even her serious looks were darling! (You should have seen my whole family get involved trying to get smiles from her :) - including a few puppets and even our dog...)
