Birthday cake on the beach! He was so funny - he dug into that cupcake with zero hesitation, and ate it ALL. I hope he didn't eat too much sand. :)

And a couple quick favorites from recent sessions. This baby was darling - he had these big wide eyes! He's a new "baby plan" client - I'm so happy that I'll get to see him again soon!




And his parents brought his Halloween costume - isn't he the cutest little bat?


And this family is another huge favorite. They've been meeting me for pictures for a long time and this year I was so happy with their session in the bosque. Their kids *gorgeous*, happy, all smiles. And fun!

This whole posting every day thing is going to be good for me. :) Here's a few favorites from one of the sessions I edited yesterday. This little girl is just turning 1 and is finishing up my baby plan too. I have loved getting to meet with her throughout this year, and her final session is my favorite yet. Isn't she beautiful? And she was SO fun playing in the water. I love that we live in a place where 1 year olds can play in the river in November.

Thanksgiving Week Specials - Announced on Facebook

I am truly thankful for this amazing year of photography. I've been much busier than any year before, and I love the challenges and opportunities that presents. I'm so grateful for my wonderful clients - beautiful babies, talented seniors, and happy families. I have enjoyed every session - just did a mental check to see if I can honestly write that, and it's true!

I've been busy enough this year that I haven't done much in the way of specials (or newsletters, for that matter...) so I thought Black Friday week might be a good time to give some really good discounts. And a giveaway too. Some of these will be for future sessions, some can be for sessions from the past, and most would also make a great Christmas gift. These will be one-day specials only and they will only be found on Facebook.

It feels so ironic - that just when I have the most sessions I could be posting, I have the least time to do it. I've had so much fun in the bosque this fall. The weather and color have been so gorgeous, and I've enjoyed every fun family. Here are a couple different families with some pictures that I love:

Military session in the bosque - {Albuquerque family photography}

Wow, blogging really takes the back burner when I'm so busy! I want to try to keep up a little bit, and this session is a great one to post. I have spent the last 2 weeks in the bosque, and we've had beautiful weather and beautiful fall color. This is one of my favorite sessions - a military family, where the serviceman was home on leave. He had just recently met his new daughter - who is just about 1 month old here - on this leave. It was an honor to meet them for family portraits.

This is an Operation Love session, which is a service some photographers provide as a small token of appreciation to our military servicemen and women. For more information, you can see the OpLove website.

A cowgirl princess in the park - {Albuquerque children photograper}

This little girl is just turning 2 years old. Time goes so fast! She is the younger sister of my son's soccer teammate and it really seems like she was just born. Her mom wanted to do pictures during soccer practice, which was such a great idea. She was a little slow to warm up, so we spent the whole hour running around the park with her, and ended up with some amazing portraits. I had a hard time choosing what to post!
