Senior portraits downtown, just as the world shut down

Strange times, and most of all for high school seniors. I loved meeting this amazing senior, just as the world was shutting down, for senior portraits downtown. We also went to an overlook for the mountain view just as the sun was setting. He had great clothing choices and two guitars to choose from, and we took probably way too many pictures.

 
We timed it perfectly to get to this overlook just as the sun was setting on the mountains. It was a perfect ending to a great session.

I always really like a picture with any senior's mom, so be prepared!

Early spring senior portraits

Senior portraits on a blustery spring evening. We got some rain but never past the threshold for running for cover. This is such a strange and hard year for high school seniors - I was really glad we squeezed these in before the ban on nonessential business! (Senior portraits are, of course, nonessential.)

He's a hockey player. And - game face.

This is my favorite. His little dog was cute all along but especially here.
