Early spring senior portraits

Senior portraits on a blustery spring evening. We got some rain but never past the threshold for running for cover. This is such a strange and hard year for high school seniors - I was really glad we squeezed these in before the ban on nonessential business! (Senior portraits are, of course, nonessential.)

This is my favorite. His little dog was cute all along but especially here.

Winter sunsets + senior portraits

This amazing girl wanted her senior portraits in the bosque, in January. In the past I have been pretty unenthusiastic about going to the bosque in winter, but since she attended Bosque School it is meaningful to her, and she was totally right! We had a perfect session, with the most amazing sunset!

She runs along these paths with the Bosque cross country team.

Family photos in the foothills

By the end of November the leaves are all down off the trees, so we went to the foothills for this beautiful family session. It was chilly but clear and crisp. This family was such a pleasure to meet and work with!

Birthday portraits

These sweet boys have been coming for birthday portraits since they were babies. Could they be any more darling? I probably say that every year. This year it was simple and they were so good!

You can no longer see the baby pictures within the pictures, but it's so fun to see history in these every year.
