One of my favorite Christmas projects every year is doing portraits at the Bee Hive Home. The staff buys portraits for their residents' families - what a great gift (in my biased opinion). Many of the families haven't had a portrait of their parent/s for years and I guess it's a neat occasion.
Anyway this year one of their residents wore his army uniform - he served in the Vietnam war and it was a privilege indeed to do a portrait for him. There were some where he smiled too (he is really nice!) but this was my favorite.
What a touching portrait. It says so much. He sure has beautiful eyes. Great job, Pam.
ReplyDeleteI also love this portrait! Incredible the home does that for them. He looks like a great man to know. If you see him again, thank him for me. :)
