My September mini-sessions were amazing! It's kind of a combination of some birthdays and some back to school, and maybe a couple of just for fun portraits. I got to meet some new awesome families and got to see some kids I've been photographing for years. I set up some back to school type props, and got to use my garden too. (I really want to use it while I can!)
Sometimes photographing two year olds can be tricky, because (as you may have noticed if you've ever had a two year old) they tend to move fast and they aren't always very interested in what the adults want them to do. I got to work with three two year olds, and all three of them were so good! This little one liked the flowers... and to shred the flowers we gave her... just like my kids used to!
I love that this little guy had his truck with him. It shows up in darling ways in many of his images.
And how amazing is it that the beautiful princess Anna came for portraits too? Her mom says her Anna dress fits her personality perfectly. I love it when kids wear or bring their favorite things for portraits.
This guy showed up with a gorgeous smile and an amazing happy attitude. He could not have been easier or more fun to photograph.
She also wanted to write "Loves Hobby Lobby" on the board, but reconsidered (I wanted to write it!).
I love these brothers' gorgeous eyes.
I met this brother and sister 5 or 6 years ago. They have grown up so much! These pictures took maybe 5 minutes because their smiles were so good (and their dad also did funny stuff behind my back).
My next mini-sessions will be October 10th. It's a fall holiday day for APS - I hope that might help some families fit portraits into their schedule. I'd love to meet new friends or see familiar faces!
If you'd like to come to my fall minisessions on October 10th, please email or give me a call!
