I'm so sad that this great family is moving away! But I was very happy to take some family pictures for them before they leave.
We went to a location on the river that is usually the easiest one I visit, but this time the water was higher than I've seen before, and the path was all flooded! We had to forge through the salt cedar to find a muddy beach. Then the trick was to keep their darling three year old clean. :)
We went inland right away, because of the mud - the sand was much safer.
Could their little girl be any cuter? I don't think so.
Heart melting.
I am admittedly a little biased because their oldest reminds me a lot of my oldest daughter when she was little. But these girls to me are just in a place of cuteness overload.
I'm going to miss my nice friend but of course I wish them all the best on their new adventure!
If you're interested in more information about a family photography session, my website has lots of info about how I do sessions. Or you can call or email me if you have questions or would just like to chat about it, no pressure.
I love doing photo sessions in the bosque like this one (well, even more when it's not flooded), but there are lots of other good
places around Albuquerque too! For lots of other
session location ideas, see this blog page here.
