Anyway, this darling little girl is the first baby in her family and I was so happy to get to meet her! I actually took some pictures for her parents after their wedding a couple of years ago. And I took senior portraits for her dad... that was awhile ago in 2010 (making me feel old), and I actually did blog that 8 years ago (I was much better about blogging back then). Kind of fun to see.
She has such beautiful eyes - I was glad that she was awake for some of the pictures.
Here is, as always, my round backdrop stand in use. We piled a few different slipcovers on, which we used and peeled off one by one, and also added some of the family's blankets and quilts.
Both parents are very musically talented, so I have some high hopes for this little girl.
Her beautiful mom is from the Philippines, pretty recently, and amazes me with her language skills.
And one with her grandma, who I think is very happy to have her first grand-baby living right here.
It is such an honor to get to photograph new babies - thanks so much to this family for bringing her to me when she was just 14 days old.
If you're interested in a newborn portrait session, I'd love to talk to you about it! Give me a call or email. There are a few things to know in order to make it as successful as possible.
