Military reunion session - wow!

This was such an amazing experience - a reunion between a serviceman who had been deployed and his family. He hadn't seen his family in 9 months, and had a new baby he'd not yet met. I was practically in tears on the sidelines with my camera :).

Senior portraits in the bosque

Working late tonight... I am really trying to be a mom first and photographer second, which means late nights! And I'm really not a good night person, unfortunately. Despite that I've gotten 2 sessions done. (And eaten an unfortunate amount of snacks to stay awake.)

This amazing senior had a quick early morning session in the bosque - it was so beautiful there, and happily not too cold. What a neat guy he is! Naturally I was very impressed that he wants to be a chemical engineer... since once upon a time (before children) that's what I was too.

Newborn baby preview

This little guy is my first sleepy newborn in a long time! He was SO darling - he put up with a bunch of us moving him around, and he kept sleeping for quite awhile. What a sweet little boy! He's my newest baby plan baby - I'm really excited to see him grow for the next year.








I love it when I get a newborn smile!

One year old beauty

This darling little girl is such a sweetie! Her mom was planning to enter her in a baby beauty pageant and needed portraits to get started. I love her outfit with the matching purse! I love that girls so little are already interested in accessories (my daughter LOVES shoes). This session was really fun.

Family preview - back at the farm

Here's a long overdue preview for this really nice family. We had a good time at the gardens - the girls got comfortable and happy back behind the barn, so we spent some time back there getting dirty. :) Well, not too dirty. Aren't they beautiful little girls??? Thanks so much for meeting me for pictures - it was a pleasure! I'm sorry to say it's going to be at least a week for the whole gallery, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
