This little girl came for the nicest session - she was so smiley and darling! I think the whole session took 15 minutes, including changes of clothes & backgrounds. And so many good happy pictures. Days like this just make me happy too. :) Her last session was amazing too - it's such an honor to have such great families come back again. And I love to see babies grow...
I just got this new background & really wanted to try it - so fun! The perfect first model.
She was so funny with the snow-globe.

I love newborns!
This little girl was so darling! I love newborn pictures but they're even more fun when the baby sleeps and lets us pose her. And not only that, but a couple of really cute newborn smiles too!
When she woke up at the end, she was D-O-N-E. Darling, but done. :)

Wedding portraits
Merry Christmas! To my wonderful brother & his amazing new wife... I didn't actually mail you anything for Christmas. Instead I figured I'd finish your wedding pictures. Well, I didn't finish, yet, but I finished the pre-wedding portraits! I'll keep working & in the meantime here's a bunch for your previewing pleasure. Hope you had a great honeymoon - I wish I was in Hawaii too!

Christmas at home
They were so cute when we got home from church that I had to take their pictures. Really, how many different colors and patterns can we fit into one picture? But this is us, right down to the stripes... the only thing that would have been MORE us is the picture I could have taken 10 minutes later that would have had considerably more running & jumping in it. (And you would have seen that we definitely hadn't picked up the living room in the recent past.)
I haven't made a Christmas card for us yet - I'm definitely leaning towards no Christmas cards this year. Just the thought of not addressing cards makes me kind of happy. I wonder if I could hire my children to address cards? Then it might be worth it.
I sure love these guys.

The last few Christmas sessions
Hooray! I'm done with my last Christmas session! I think I did 25% more than last year (and I thought last year was crazy). But they are all proofed and galleries are posted. SO - if you're waiting for a non-Christmas session, I will be getting to those in the next few days. And orders are coming in soon too. Thanks so much to all my amazing clients & friends! Here are a few from each session.
This family is my newest Baby Expressions family. Their daughter is 3 months old and really a sweet little girl. She hung in there for a whole lot of pictures :). It was a pleasure to meet them all!
I love babies with crazy hair, and this little guy's is perfect! He also has perfect eyes for photography and a beautiful smile. He wasn't going for the pictures by himself (and his mom had some totally cute props too - maybe next time :) ) but I love what we ended up with. Some great family love!
My friend bought a photography gift certificate at a silent auction last spring & saved it for Christmas portraits. We had fun with their beautiful dog, their fun boys, and lots of tic-tacs. It was an exciting and quick session that I think worked out great!
And another of my baby-plan babies. This little girl... I wish she could come every day, she's so much fun! It took maybe 10 minutes to get way too many gorgeous smiles from her. I love these!
And now.... I need to make Christmas cards of my own! And some gifts ready (naturally I give photo gifts), and maybe I should bake a few things. Or vacuum!
Merry Christmas to you all - I'm so grateful for all my friends & clients. You're the greatest!
