Newborn sweetness (Albuquerque children family photographer)

I do love a good newborn session. This little one is only a week old. She is really petite and so sweet! She was so cute - if she got a little sad, all she needed was her mom to love her & she was ready for more pictures. She never really slept, though she did close one eye (two of my kids used to sleep with one eye open) - but she was so mellow that it didn't matter. She wore my new baby cocoon (which my kids think is a big hat) and one of my grandma's antique baby dresses, thanks for being my model baby! :) Oh, and her darling brother appears here too.

It's so special for me to get to do these sessions, so I can revel in newborns & not have to have one of my own. :) :) I did another this week too, need to post for her mom to see...

Senior Pictures (Albuquerque children family photographer)

This girl is gorgeous! I was so happy when I was asked to take some senior pictures for her. This is just a few, from what I had time to proof tonight, but I wanted to show her at least a couple. More to come soon!

Back yard fun - including a turtle (Albuquerque children family photographer)

These are some of our really nice friends in their back yard. (And wow, can you believe it's only March, looking at their back yard? Maybe our dead yellow grass is influencing my opinion, but it looks like summer already in their yard!) Anyway their kids are so beautiful, it's always really fun to take their pictures. I love the look on the little girl's face as she pulls her brother's hair :) - and he is so sweet & kind to her anyway! We're thankful to have such great friends.

Pettiskirt! (Albuquerque children family photographer)

I started sewing this pettiskirt last summer, and I feared it was one of those projects that somehow never gets done. But I got motivated again (thanks to my wonderful new sewing machine, thanks to my mother in law!) and got it done! I LOVE it! So this is available if someone is wanting little girl + pettiskirt pictures. :)

Wedding day (Albuquerque children family photographer)

I don't do a lot of weddings, but I enjoy the ones I do. (One of the problems is that sorting through 500+ images later is a big job! I'm only 2/3 done with this one.) This is the beautiful couple whose engagement portraits I did earlier. Their wedding was wonderful - it was a perfect day out, what a blessing, and a beautiful ceremony. Here's some favorites & here's to hoping I'll finish up the rest soon!
