First day of school - {Albuquerque children photography}

First day of school. (Okay, it was Tuesday, not today.) Not my favorite day. My chest gets tight when I think about it. Fortunately for me, the kids both got the teachers we were hoping for, and they have good friends in their classes, so they are pretty excited for it.

Too many backpacks!  People need to pick and then clean out the rest!


Everyone was up kind of early - a bit of nervousness maybe?  Happy, just early.


My kids are great readers - when he has extra time you can often find him like this:

Cereal - the breakfast of champions!  We don't eat anything else (for breakfast...)




You just can't trust the school lunch menu those first few days... we have to pack lunches.
