Newborn twin girls - {Albuquerque newborn photographer}

These little girls just melt my heart - they are so beautiful and sweet! I went to their house for newborn portraits, and I was so excited for twins. They were perfect! I was reminded of my extreme respect for moms of twins :) - how do they manage it? - because they did not do a lot of both sleeping at the same time. But they were serene and darling when awake as well as asleep. Even when I was posing them both together, which was probably a little smooshy.

Their big brother got in a few pictures in the beginning. He did such a good job taking care of his sisters!

Every time I unwrapped them, they would wake right up. So I decided I was very happy with their gorgeous knit blankets, and we stuck with mostly keeping them wrapped up.

And they did both doze off together for a little bit. I love these pictures of them together.

I am much slower posting this preview than I meant to be! (My apologies to their really nice mom!) I do school portraits for a couple of charter schools, and it takes a huge amount of time. And the schedule is really tight. Anyway I'm finally to a good place with my orders & proofs (for a few days anyway) and I have time to proof sessions again - so if you're waiting for me for something, I'll be getting back with you any time now. :) Thanks for your patience - this fall has been even busier than I thought it would be.

Baby twins - first birthday!

I met this family about 6 months ago, soon after they'd moved to Albuquerque. Their darling little girls just turned 1 year old and I had so much fun taking birthday pictures of them. How many pictures might I need to take, in an hour & 1/2 at their house, you might ask? TOO MANY :) - thus I'm posting just a few here... or maybe a really lot...

What could be cuter than twins in tutus looking out the window?

I love this one. The dog wasn't too enthusiastic about the idea, but their parents are amazingly patient - it took a few tries but was worth it!

The grass was kind of pokey, but she was a good sport.

They were excited to get the cake - it was so cute!

This little one was giggling and laughing as she happily ate more & more frosting.

And this little girl wasn't as into the cake as her sister, but she was so happy and funny! She kept walking away and being returned to her cake...

And she sat down on her hat for awhile, it was so funny!

Thanks so much for having me over to play with your girls, it was such a great afternoon! This is going to be a big DVD of pictures :)....

Twin princesses - portrait previews

I've been wanting to get these darling twins in front of my lens since I first saw them. :) I love them! It was so fun to be out with them - everyone that passed by was ooh-ing and aah-ing about how cute they are. I'm sure they get attention where ever they go. Anyway they were perfect, there are tons of really good pictures of them. Their parents were champion smile-coaxers (thanks!) This is a preview for them, because I'm really swamped in pictures & won't have the rest of them ready for awhile.... love these!

A lot of peek-a-boo, jingling, and squeaking.... totally worth it for this smile!

They kept sinking down in these chairs - they are so fun but not designed for 7 month olds :)

These took some dedication from their parents - it was too high for the girls to reach so their mom & dad are lying down in the dirt to hold them up high enough to get these rose petals (which yes, they ate).

Twin newborn girls

These are 2 tiny little girls - they were not quite 5 lbs each when I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago. They were so darling, and perfect! They mostly slept but had their eyes open a few times. They just got home from a long stay in the hospital - they were 9 weeks premature but did a great job putting on enough weight to come home. Congratulations to their amazing family!

I had an impossible time picking which pictures to show, and I kept thinking I would just FINISH them & give their mom the CD, but I'm still totally swamped and wanted to show her something... so here are a few samples of LOTS of great pictures.
