Sisters

These are some really nice friends of ours. Their girls are so darling! Their older daughter used to look just like baby Mattie - round & bald. They are really sweet little girls. The baby is at that tricky crawling-away age for pictures, but there turned out to be a bunch of cute ones (at least I thought so - hopefully it's the right smile for her parents too!) My flowers are still pretty! I'm so happy that it's the end of September & I can still use my yard for flower pictures.

Paradise Hills Community Preschool

This is our preschool - we love it! I am on the parent board & we put on a big celebration this week. It was a lot of work but we had incredible turnout & the party was so much fun! We had everything from horse rides to jumpers to face painting to games, cake walk, pizza, cotton candy (we made the cotton candy, it was fun!) & more. The mayor didn't come at the last second (I hear this is common with him) but we did have the morning news anchor for our MC (she was great!). I took this picture for the party invitations.

Family pics

This is the nicest family! They have a son who was just leaving for a mission to Portugal and were all together to celebrate. They were super-organized, important because the only time pictures worked was also during an important football game. :) Luckily it all worked, even with the babies' nap schedule. Quick and great pictures too! What a great looking family - love those beautiful little girls!

front yard flowers

Okay, this is exactly what I wanted last year when we fixed up this section of the yard. An area I could use for flower pictures without having to go to the botanic gardens every time. :) I love it! It took longer than I'd wanted to get going this summer, probably d/t not enough water (this is Albuquerque after all) but it's been gorgeous for a couple of months now. Anyway these flowers are going to last at least a couple more weeks if anyone likes...

I took these instead of school portraits, which we never really like, but it's fun to get dressed up & hair curled, etc, on school picture day anyway. Oh and I have to say, she planned all these poses & the location herself, I just went along with it. :)

I'm excited to start this blog - I think it will be a fun addition to my photography. I know time will be a factor but I think it's worth it. This will be a great way for customers to preview sessions, for me to show new ideas & plans, specials...
