We had such a fun weekend - my cousin & his family came to visit for balloon fiesta! It was perfect weather - I'd been really worried that the 2nd weekend of balloon fiesta would be a huge storm & they'd come all this way for nothing. But we got to see Friday's glow, which was great, and the mass ascension Saturday morning, which was one of the best we've ever been there for. Jeanette used to be part of the balloon scene so she was really fun to walk around with & learn from.
We also headed to the zoo for some family pictures for them in a fun setting. Their little boy is SO darling! I couldn't believe how well he dealt with travel, etc., and was still super happy & easygoing. Not to mention photogenic :) - those eyes!
And some business too - my schedule is nearly completely booked for October. I can do one, maybe two, sessions during the last week. If you're interested in a portrait session, please get with me ASAP because November is going fast! I will post details on my Saturday sessions for November in the next couple of days (and send out a newsletter... I hope...) My December cut-off for sessions is 12/5. After that - I have something really beautiful planned for January, so if you'd like family portraits but don't want to cram it into the fall rush, stay tuned!
