Newborn sweetness

Oh, isn't this little girl the sweetest thing? I loved getting to work with her. Those cheeks!

I've been having fun with composite images lately. I told my daughter that I needed to borrow her tea set and she at first wasn't going to give it to me because she thought it was too fragile for the baby. We thought it was hilarious once we were both on the same page - the baby was not actually going to USE her tea set. Anyway, how cute is she here?

I always have to mention my round backdrop stand because honestly I like doing newborn portraits so much more now than I used to - it just makes it so simple. And I love the variety of slipcover colors I have now too - this lilac color is so soft.

This was as unwrapped as she was willing to get - sometimes it seems like no matter how well a baby is sleeping, unwrapping just makes them sad.

Baby's aunt both spun and knit this hat. Hearing this made me want to learn how to spin yarn - what a fun skill!

Big Sister was so amazing - she was patient the whole time, even when the baby needed to stop and be soothed or eat. I was really impressed.

I am so happy to know this family! Thank you so much to them for bringing me their girls at this special time in their lives.

If you're interested in a newborn portrait session, I'd love to talk to you about it! Give me a call or email. There are a few things to know in order to make it as successful as possible.
