Newborn photography using a round backdrop stand

This beautiful little princess came to me for newborn photography when she was just three days old. She was sleepy and really a dream to work with.

I got the chance to use the round backdrop stand that my husband and I have been working on. I love it because when I used to use a normal backdrop stand behind the beanbag, sometimes when I turn the baby, the backdrop is missing or wrinkled behind them. Then I have to edit it later in Photoshop.

So hopefully using this new round stand, the backdrop won't need extra editing later. It worked like a charm for me with this sweet little girl.

She is the first girl in her family, with four older brothers. Some girly flowers seemed like a great idea.

Sometimes it's fun to see a pull-back of what the setup looks like.

I'm so grateful to her awesome mom for bringing me her baby when she was still definitely not fully recovered! I hope you are all getting some rest.

If you're interested in a newborn portrait session, I'd love to talk to you about it! Give me a call or email. There are a few things to know in order to make it as successful as this one was.
