Fairy princesses in the spring blossoms

How much of photography is real and how much is photoshop? Well, usually, I keep the photoshop to a bare minimum. But for these pictures, obviously a lot. I thought it would be fun to show the before and after versions of these creative fairy pictures.

This darling little girl had to do some pretending when we took these pictures! Here is the final result - so cute, right?


And here is what we started with! She had to pretend the stick was a beautiful flower - she thought that was pretty funny.


And here is the blooming tree that I used to set up the picture.


I have been thinking about this picture for awhile, and I don't think I'm quite done with it yet (my daughter wants to try it too) - but what a lot of fun this is!

This is one of my favorites! I have been collecting butterfly pictures for a long time now and I used real butterfly wings, I just changed the colors to match. The colors all matching in this picture is important - her dress is perfect!


Here she is hanging from the tree- full-size. Cute, but not nearly as cute as the finished picture!


Here are the wings - in orange. :)


This little girl was my next client, and I was on a roll! I had her hang from a tree also, and changed the color of her wings.


She is a little taller and it was harder for her to hang and keep her feet off the ground!
