I shouldn't always talk about how amazing the families are that I work with. But this family was truly such a pleasure! Their girls go to school with my kids and their mom was a girl scout leader extraordinaire for my daughter last year. Their family was bursting with fun, kindness, and great ideas.
I enjoyed spending a little time in the Sandia foothills with them at the Elena Gallegos open space. Last time I did pictures there it was something like 95 degrees out, so these mild temperatures were very pleasant.
Each daughter has a very different, beautiful, personality.
Can you tell in these pictures?
Even their dog was awesome - she sat mildly with the family, and didn't mind looking my way when I needed her to. The girls were very good at posing themselves.
The dog did not jump. (I guess that is harder to coach.) But the family had excellent jumping synchronization - everyone at the same time, sometimes tricky.
This just makes me think of the Sound of Music. We need some guitar cases or suitcases.
Their mom needed a picture of her before her teeth grew in on top. (My youngest has the funny one big tooth thing going right now - hopefully I got a good picture of her last month!)
