Railroad tracks!

I have been wanting to do a session here at these abandoned railroad tracks ever since I learned of them. So I was so happy when this great family wanted to go there too! It was really fun. It was almost too cold, but not quite :) - these darling kids were great sports.

I definitely want to go back....







The kids were so sweet together.








Their little boy was a bit concerned that some trains might be coming by soon. Our reassurances that trains don't use these tracks anymore evidently weren't quite convincing enough. (It didn't help when we'd hear a real train whistle - from other tracks nearby.)


The baby, who just turned 1 year old, came for some portraits too - some without a red nose from the cold :). She is such a cutie! She was one of my fairy models from this summer - it was great to see her again.
